Useful thingsfor strange futures.

I build software, systems, physical things, and whatever else gets the idea working. Some solve a real problem. Some answer a question I probably should have left alone.

The ideas that made it past “what if?”

Products, systems, and worlds in different stages of becoming real. No inflated launch stories—each card says where it is.

01 / ProductPrototype

Audio Stream

A simpler iPhone app for an Audiobookshelf library.

What it is
A native SwiftUI login and navigation prototype, built around a direct route into a personal audiobook library.
Why it exists
The listening experience I want is simple: sign in, find the book, press play. Everything else should earn its place.
  • SwiftUI
  • iOS
  • Audiobookshelf
02 / SystemOngoing

Practical Automation

Small tools for work that should not need repeating by hand.

What it is
Parsers, lookups, handoffs, and document-to-task workflows for repetitive service and admin work.
Why it exists
Good automation is predictable, easy to check, and smart enough to stop when a person should decide.

This Portfolio

The place every future project can point back to.

What it is
A responsive project index with code-built motion, a living signal field, and a deliberately strange second state.
Why it exists
A template could hold the words. It could not carry the personality—or hide a launch sequence in plain sight.
  • React
  • Interaction design
  • Accessibility
04 / WorldConcept

Acoustic World

What if voice chat actually cared about the room you were in?

What it is
A multiplayer game concept where terrain, distance, walls, doors, tunnels, and light change what players can hear and see.
Why it exists
Sound should be part of the world—not a separate chat layer pasted over it. That one question changes the whole game.

Wild ideas. Careful builds.

I’m Joshua. I make things I want to exist.

Some projects start with a problem I want gone. Others start with a slightly unreasonable question. Either way, I keep going until the idea is useful, testable, or impossible to ignore.

This is the front door for the things I’ve made worth sharing.

More will land here.

This is the main index. New public projects and links will show up when they are ready—not when the announcement is.
