Settings and help

Open Settings from the title screen or the match menu. Settings has Audio, Display, and Controls tabs.

Make the game easier to read

In Display, adjust the UI scale. The range is 75% to 200%. Try a larger value when text is too small.

Use Mouse camera sensitivity to adjust how far the view follows the mouse. The range is 0× to 2×. The default is 1×. Select Reset to return to 1×. Aiming and building still use the cursor position.

Use Fixed camera to follow your player without mouse look-ahead. Turn it off to use mouse camera sensitivity. You can show or hide the minimap and control reference. Set particles to Off, Low, or High. Off keeps subdued impact outlines and removes cosmetic particles and bright impact flashes.

Use fullscreen when it helps you see the play area. Use the mouse wheel to change world zoom. World zoom and UI scale are separate controls.

Set input and sound

Use Controls to rebind keyboard and mouse actions. Search for an action by name. Set a direct tool shortcut if the tool wheel is difficult to use.

Rebind Interact to change the key shown beside nearby loot, food plants, miners, stations, doors, and vehicles. Press it once for the displayed target, then release. Move closer to a different object to change the hint.

Use Audio to select input and output devices. Adjust microphone gain, voice volume, and game sound volume separately. Text chat is available when you do not use voice.

Your display, audio, and control preferences are saved locally. Your player access code is not saved as a preference.

Read habitat air

On orbital habitat development maps, the player panel shows Pressure, O₂, and Breath reserve. These readings describe the air at your character's head. Surface maps do not use this system.

Air is safe at 50% pressure or higher and 12% atm O₂ or higher. The O₂ figure is oxygen partial pressure: 21% atm means 0.21 atmospheres of oxygen, not the percentage of oxygen in whatever gas remains. Both thresholds must be met.

A full breath reserve lasts 8 seconds in unsafe air. Once it is empty, exposure removes 8 health per second. Safe air restores 2 seconds of reserve per second, up to eight seconds. It does not automatically heal health lost to exposure. Keeping your head underwater in a habitat also prevents breathing.

LOW PRESSURE, LOW OXYGEN, and SUFFOCATING mean you should return to safe air. BREATH RECOVERING means the air is safe and the reserve is refilling. BREATHABLE means the reserve is full. LOCAL AIR · waiting for reading is not a safe-air confirmation.

Current limits

  • This is PRE-ALPHA 0.1.0. Bugs and incomplete features remain.
  • Apple Silicon Mac and Linux are active desktop targets. Windows runtime checks are incomplete.
  • Intel Mac packages are outside the current target set.
  • Browser, iOS, and Android clients are paused.
  • Voice depends on devices, permission, and the game host. Channeler chant casting needs working voice.
  • Large, busy matches can have delayed updates. A high local frame rate does not prove a fast connection.
  • The round recap is a sampled view of your known terrain. It is not a complete recording of every action.
  • Platforms, a persistent campaign, and a clan war map are not available.
  • Your organizer chooses whether to include orbital habitat maps. These maps use paired airlocks, local air exposure, and oxygen generators.
  • Habitat gas uses a cell approximation. It does not model airflow forces or realistic molecules. Large, heavily disturbed gas volumes still have unresolved performance limits.
  • Ladders and natural food plants are available. See terrain and construction for climbing, harvesting, and eating.

Report a problem

Send a report to your test organizer through the agreed contact method. This wiki does not collect reports.

Include these details:

  1. The game version and operating system.
  2. The server name, map name if known, and approximate time.
  3. Your class and the action you tried.
  4. The steps that caused the problem.
  5. What you expected and what happened.
  6. The exact error or connection message.
  7. Whether it happens again after you rejoin.

A screenshot can help with a layout problem. Include the window size and UI scale. For a voice problem, include the device names and voice status.

Remove access codes and other private information before you share a screenshot or log. Do not send a password or full access code.

Placement has no supportConnect to stable terrain and add supports.
Green build outline, but no block appearsThe outline checks what your client can see. Read the server's brief rejection message; support, cooldown, or a newly occupied cell can still prevent placement.
A swing does not break or damage anythingA swing can miss. Empty swings still have a cooldown and do not grant resources.
No nearby interaction hintMove within 2 tiles of a visible eligible target. Check for walls, an empty miner, unripe food, full seats, or a full pack.
